Negotiations for the Land

For the past half a year we have been holding discussions with accountants and experts in the field of senior living facilities. We have succeeded in building a business plan which will enable Beit Hesed to run efficiently in the future.

Discussions with a Moshav (Israeli cooperative settlement) on the outskirts of Jerusalem for the use of land are advancing. We hope that within a few months we will get a deal signed for property. This location is perfect for our senior home. We are negotiating for 5 dunams (5,000 sq. meters) of land set in the beautiful hills around Jerusalem. This location is set in nature and yet very close to Jerusalem for shopping, outings, and visits from friends/relatives. It also provides easy access for those who will visit from other Israeli cities such as Ashdod, Beersheba and Tel Aviv.

This project is covered in prayer, as every month a group of intercessors and friends of the project meet to get updated and to pray.

PTL: Under the covering of a local Messianic congregation we began a once a month “Golden Club” for seniors from all the messianic congregations in Jerusalem. The Beit Hesed project will take years, but we don’t want to wait to serve these precious ones. The club time includes some praise, an encouraging devotional word, games, and a hot meal. Our first meeting went very well with about 30 attending from about 6 congregations
